Brows, Brows, Brows

Does anyone else seem like they are always on the hunt for the perfect brow kit/color/application? I know I am. I find myself switching between products often, not being completely satisfied with one product. Recently I was introduced to Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques. This is a Utah based company that focuses on providing us women with makeup that is actually healthy for us. It is made with natural and organic ingredients. It is also cruelty free and EU Certified, which means their products go above and beyond the US cosmetic standards.

I was excited to try their Brow Kit. It comes as a two step product, with the brow color and a designing wax. I also really like the brush that it comes with. I already have fairly dark(ish) and thicker brows, but I like to fill them in because I have some missing spots from microblading and I think filling them in just really frame your face. I have been using this product for about 3 weeks, and it has been simple to use, and lasts throughout the day.

The dark brown is the perfect color for me…it isn’t too dark, and gives me just the amount of coverage I like. I would guess it is probably their most universal/popular color also. Because of the wax, you can really build it up or do it fairly light.

Be sure to check out Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques for more great makeup, that is great for you, and makes you feel great about yourself!

Spring Is In The Air!

The weather here in Utah has been SO nice lately, almost reaching 70 during the day. We have spent a lot of time outside, playing with neighbors and at the park. I always feel the spring cleaning bug as soon as the weather changes and want to sell everything I own and replace my whole wardrobe. Is anyone else that way? I’ve rounded up some clothes, accessories, and makeup that I have had my eye on the past few weeks, and I’m sharing my faves!

These Qupid slides are on my already purchased list, haha. You can find them for as cheap as $10 on Amazon! They come in multiple colors, too.

A good gloss is always a must have, and THIS Marc Jacobs one is beauty guru Jaclyn Hill’s fave.

Cute bathing suits! I’m loving THIS open front, full booty coverage one.

I’ve been loving rose gold, and especially loving THESE slip on vans.

For me, I need oversized sunglasses! Love THESE one’s from Nordstrom.

Slightly embarrassed on how much I like THESE!

Cute, light dresses are always important. Love THIS one.

I love THIS facial spray. It is cheap, smells good, and is a nice refresher throughout the day.

What are some of your favorite things for spring? I’m always looking for other things I *need*, lol. Let’s all pray for nice weather from here on out.

Robyn

Friday Faves!

It’s finally Friday, YAY.  It has been quite a long week, with not a lot of family time (re: none), so I’m so looking forward to 4pm tomorrow when we can spend some time together!  It is so hot here in Arizona, I think Sunday will be spent in the mountains, actually does AZ even have mountains?  Regardless, it will be spent somewhere COOLER.  Here are some of my recent FAVORITE things!

3. Jo Malone Wild Bluebell– you can’t go wrong with Jo Malone!

4. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake– the best lip balm with hint of color.

Monday Must-Have’s!

I am excited to do my first “Monday Must-Have’s” post today. Each Monday (hopefully), I will share a few things I am currently loving. These things could be fashion related, beauty related, food, things for Saylor…pretty much anything. Today I’m going to go in the BEAUTY direction.

-First things first, my favorite current obsession, the Makeup Eraser. My sister told me about this and it sounded like a lazy girls dream. You get it wet and wipe your face with it, and it removes all makeup. No soap or face wash needed. GLORIOUS! It is machine washable and you get tons of use out of it. I use it about 4 times between each wash. I bought mine at Sephora.

-Next up is the Tubby Todd Dream Cream. If you have followed my blog, you know I have talked about them before (see HERE). I am a big Tubby Todd fan, and I don’t go a day without using this lotion on myself. I get dry skin, I will itch myself raw, it’s so bad. This stuff is a DREAM though! I use it on my hands, elbows, legs, pretty much everywhere, and it doesn’t leave me feeling greasy which I love. Follow them on IG too, they post coupon codes and have giveaways!

-One word: ColourPop. Or two, I’m not really sure. If you have never heard of ColourPop I feel bad for you. It’s a cosmetic company out of LA and I have been a loyal customer for about 8 months. My little sister first introduced me, she’s super into makeup and YouTubers, and I guess all their stuff is popular in that world. My current favs from there are their Ultra Matte Lips. They last ALL DAY LONG. It’s amazing. They are so so affordable, pretty much everything is only $6, and if you sign up for their emails you get a $5 off coupon, so basically you are stealing from them. For that price, it’s worth a try. My must have shade is Clueless!

-If you are a foundation loving cake face like me, you MUST try the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation. When looking for a foundation, I look for a fuller coverage and long lasting. This one is everything 🙂 It’s super affordable also, and if you purchase from Ulta you can use one of their coupons! I use the color 102, and will probably go up to 103 in the summer.

-Last but certainly not least, the holy grail of highlighters, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, in Opal. They come in a few different colors, opal just happens to be my favorite. Youtuber Jaclyn Hill did a collaboration with them and came out with a limited shade, and I’ve heard amazing things about that one as well. These “skin perfectors” are literally the best things you will ever put on your face. They go on so easily and last all day long, it’s come quality stuff. Never change.

Has anyone tried any of my MMH? What are your thoughts and what are some of your must have’s?! I would love to hear!
