How fun is it to get new shoes? I remember shoe shopping when I was little, and being so excited to wear my new shoes everywhere. I hope that Saylor feels that way too, and that she always wants to wear cute shoes LOL. It was time to get her a new pair of sandals for summer, and I wanted something that would last and actually support her little feet and be comfortable! Pediped is known for being supremely comfortable, long lasting, and actually cute! I gave Saylor about 4 different pairs to choose from, and she picked the Flex Lynn Gold and I couldn’t have been more happy!
I have said it many times, and I won’t stop saying it anytime, but I love Freshly Picked! These were the first pair of shoes that fit Saylor properly, and she wore her first pair into the ground. FP is a small company from Utah, was featured on Shark Tank, and all around has an amazing story. They are very active in their community, in the mommy world, and with their customers. I love that!
Recently they came out with a new line of Mary Jane Moccasins. As soon as I saw them I knew I wanted them to be my next babies first pair! They are so very cute…and the scallop detail!? Obsessed.
For those of you with older kids, this is all routine and old news to you. But to others with their first kid, like myself, starting (pre)school in the fall, I thought it would be fun to put together a small list of some back to school essentials! Obviously in preschool they don’t need much of anything, but here are some fun idea’s of a few things they might need.
- A BACKPACK! Of course. I try to steer clear of character anything (sorry, Saylor!), but I love these animal SkipHop Backpacks from Target. One thing that Saylor’s teacher told me, and I wouldn’t have even thought about it, was to send them with a full sized backpack, or at least big enough for papers to fit in it. Littles can get frustrated with trying to cram everything in there.
2. NEW OUTFIT…duh! This is the best part. Gap has a ton of cute stuff right now, and they always have good sales.
