I have talked about my love for Bamboobies before, and now that I have been nursing for a month, I’m here to tell you my favorites products and why! I am blessed that nursing has come easy for me, but really great products make it even easier. Since the hospital, I have lived, and I mean lived 24/7, in these nursing tanks. They are soft, so comfortable (not too tight or too loose), and the perfect amount of support. I don’t want to put anything else on.
Their nursing pads are also my favorite. The reusable ones are SO SOFT and “cutesy”, not that it matters, but it helps! And the disposable ones are the perfect size and don’t get all gross after 2 seconds.
The last product that is a must have for me is their boob ease nipple balm. I don’t use it as much as I did my first 2 weeks postpartum, but it is something all nursing mama’s need! I love that it isn’t thick and sticky, and it really helps ease the pain.
Bamboobies totally has us nursing mom’s covered, and they know what they are doing! They can be found at your local Target, and online. You should follow them on IG too, because they always post little sales they are having that you wouldn’t otherwise know about! Go you nursing mama, go!
Calling all mama’s! I mean honestly, does anyone that isn’t a mom actually read this? Haha…I’m here to introduce you to your new favorite diapers and wipes. I mean this 100% sincerely. I found Parasol Co on Instagram and their cute patterns caught my eye. Click on the image below to find out more!
Having a monthly subscription for diapers and wipes is pretty genius when you’re a busy mom. Not having to think about one less thing, sign me up. The diaper sizing is spot on and I can honestly say that their wipes are my favorite that I have ever used! And I have used most brands. They aren’t too wet, they are large and don’t rip, and have a light, fresh scent. Click on the image below to get information on their subscriptions 🙂 You can also try it for free!
Check them out and let me know what you think!
Shark Tank products are just my favorite. Especially baby gear! When I saw the episode with Tranquilo Mat, I knew I had to have it! The Tranquilo Mat is a soothing mat that mimics the sounds and motions of a mother’s womb. So cool and innovative, and USEFUL! There is actual science behind this product, and was invented by a “crying baby” specialist, who saw a need.
Saylor loved to use the mat before her baby sis came, haha.
Remi likes being held and the mat held against her back. It really is soothing and comforting, I wish they came in adult size, haha! I saw on their social media the other day that they are coming out with cute patterned covers (!!!), so be on the look out for those! I highly recommend this mat, especially for our little babes that have trouble adjusting to the outside world!

Happy almost weekend!
As a new mom again, I’m learning about all sorts of new baby companies. Companies with products I had no idea that I needed. You NEED so much stuff as a Mom! If you are nursing or have nursed before, you understand me when I say that I worry if my baby is getting enough. With Saylor, I took measures to ensure I was (over) producing, because I didn’t want to starve my baby! This time around I understand my body a little bit better, but how are you ever sure that your baby is getting enough?
One of my friends told me about Momsense…this handy little gadget that lets you listen while your baby nurses, then sends you information to your smart phone on your nursing session. It records the baby swallowing, lets you know how long they nurse for, and the quantity consumed on each side. You hook it up to your phone and everything is kept track of on their app. It is so simple, and really helps put your mind at ease.
Momsense is on sale for a killer price right now, only $49. It is normally $89 so it really is a good deal. I highly recommend this product, especially if you are wanting to know how much your baby has nursed!
I feel like this blog took me 18 hours to write up and post…I am THAT tired. 3 weeks of only getting 5ish hours of sleep is finally catching up to me! I’m not (really) complaining haha, I just forgot what it was like to not get good sleep! I know it won’t last forever so I am really trying to appreciate those quiet, middle of the night moments with Remi and I. Thanks for all your love and support and patience, being a Mom to more than 1 is no joke! Happy weekend!
Holy cow I can’t believe it has already been a week since our sweet Remi has joined our family. The days and nights have sort of blurred together, and I’m starting to remember what it is like to function on little to no sleep. But I wouldn’t change her being here for anything! I am so grateful to have had a smooth labor and delivery, and the recovery has been fairly good considering what my body just went through, haha. I’m always hesitant to say I’m doing good, because “good” is a broad term and no one really wants to hear what is going on! One day soon I will sit down and write out my birth story. Until then, here are a few products I have enjoyed using this past week.
Nursing tank and boob ease nipple balm from Bamboobies. Life savers.
Swaddle blanket from Copper Pearl. It’s the perfect size, and stretchy so it keeps Remi tight and cozy!
Tranquilo Mat…so amazing! It vibrates and soothes Remi and it is just really cool and handy. It was on Shark Tank…definitely check them out.
This MomSense breastfeeding meter. It really is helpful and so cool. It listens to your baby swallow and can let you know how much your baby is eating. It’s been especially comforting to use in the beginning, when you are worried about if your baby is getting enough!
Also, a nursing reminder bracelet from NursElet. It has proven to be helpful in reminding me which side I last nursed on, especially in the middle of the night when I don’t know what is going on, haha!
MAJOR points go to Parasol Co for their amazing diapers and wipes. Their wipes are slightly larger than most, and don’t tear! I love them. We haven’t had any blowouts in the diapers and they come in the cutest prints.

Ok if anyone is like me, the thought of having to purchase a new car seat is daunting. I like to think that I am knowledgeable when it comes to baby gear and safety, but picking the right one for my family was overwhelming! I had a few narrowed down in my mind that I wanted to checkout first hand before I made the purchase, so down I went to the Baby Cubby. If you are in Utah, you know how great they are! There I was able to get my hands on the ones I wanted to see, check them out, and even try them out in my car! The staff are all very helpful and educated, as well!
First one up was the Maxi Cosi Mico Max 30. Super lightweight and top in safety.
Next was the Nuna Pipa car seat. Very comparable to the Maxi Cosi, and slightly more $$.
Love the look of them both!
The car seat wall!
Another one I wanted to checkout was the Britax B Safe. Love Britax but decided it was a bit too deep and wanted to switch it up from last time!
I really loved both of them and the colors/fabrics that they came in.
At the end, I chose the Maxi Cosi and I’m very happy with my decision! It is so light weight, safe, and nice to look at. I can’t wait to break this puppy in. Okay actually I can wait, I’m terrified and so anxious to give birth but I’m excited to not be pregnant!
Another reason you should go to Baby Cubby immediately (if you are local!), they have the best area for kids to play in while you shop. Saylor loves every time we go in there and I am always the one waiting on her to finish playing!
You can also find a baby car seat buying guide HERE. It contains really helpful information all in one place. Let me know what car seats you have loved and what has worked best for your family!
If you are like me, you need white noise to sleep. Troy and I have to have a fan going all night long, or we (I) can’t sleep! I don’t know if it was smart or not, but we passed our white noise necessity down to Saylor. She sleeps with a fan as well, or whatever app we can come up with if we are traveling. When I discovered the Hatch Baby Rest, I knew I would love it! It is sleek and innovative, and has a lot more functions than the fan we have been using. What I loved even more about it, is that there is an app you can use to set a timer for it, control the volume and colors…pretty much anything. And it is all customizable. Totally cool!
What is also neat about it is you can control it by just tapping the ring on the outside. Saylor loves that part, haha. I also love the way that it looks, and you can change the look of it with these awesome slip cover type things!
I hate to break it to Saylor, but when this baby comes next month, I’m stealing this from her and using it in the babies room, haha! Another really cool feature that it has is the ok-to-wake indicator. You can make it turn a specific color when it is ok for your child to come out of their room in the morning…if you have a problem with too early of risers! Such a good idea.
You can buy the Hatch Baby Rest HERE, and shop all their other awesome products, HERE. You can also see my favorite coverlets HERE.
Let me know what you think! Happy almost Friday!
Being a first time mom, I am constantly scouring the Internet and Instagram for the latest and greatest. I love baby gear, and finding new products or accessories that I can’t live without. (Sorry, Troy!) I am NOT an expert, just a lady who has tried lots of different things and is here to share what you absolutely NEED! I can’t possibly cover everything in one post, so this will be a start.
–Nursing? You need nipple cream and nursing pads (I preferred the reusable kind). Also, a good nursing cover! BONUS, this one can be used 3 ways!
Be sure to follow @copperpearl on IG for discounts and new products!
— Fischer-Price Rock ‘n Play Sleeper. This got so much use when Saylor was little! It is lightweight, easy to move around, and has the perfect incline position.
— A Sling Bathtub! We had one like THIS ONE and used it for almost a full year. The sling is perfect for when they are little, then the actual bath part is great for when they are learning to sit up/first learn to sit up on their own.
— A TRAVEL SYSTEM! This is an absolute must. Newborns sleep so much, and who wants to transfer a sleeping baby in and out of their car seat every time you are going somewhere? No one! Insert car seat in stroller and you are good to go. There are so many options in this field that it honestly could be its own blog post. but THIS ONE from Britax is always a top pick.
— Swaddle blankets. Lots and lots of them! I particularly loved the Aden and Anais brand, but to each their own! I used them for everything. Stroller blankets, burp rags, nursing covers…they will get lots of use!
That concludes my list for today, as Saylor is waking up from her nap. Trust me, we only scratched the surface! What are some of your must haves?
