Maternity Style with PinkBlush

Hi! Happy Sunday! I hope you all have had a nice, relaxing day thus far. Let’s talk about maternity wear. For starters I should probably admit that my “pregnancy style” has consisted of leggings, oversized sweatshirts, and Uggs. I’m not kidding, LOL! I should probably be embarrassed, but it’s so cold here and with my growing belly nothing fits right anymore. At least on Sunday’s I try to give my favorite leggings a break, and wear something more stylish.

If you are pregnant, or have been pregnant recently, I’m sure you have heard of Pink Blush Maternity. They are a company that brings us affordable, comfortable, and cute clothes. I recently got this floral maxi dress from them, and I’m in love! I’ve never been a big fan of maxi dresses on me, being tall and whatnot, I felt like they never looked right on me. But when I’m pregnant that all changes haha. My dress is about 2″ longer than some of the other maxi dresses out there, so I jumped on it and I’m glad I did. I will also be able to wear it while nursing, yay.

Here are a couple of my other favorite things right now:

This lacey number is so pretty.

I love this blue color, but this maxi dress comes in many colors.

I love the scalloped hem on this one!

I really like the shimmer on this one.

And I love the chiffon sleeves on this one!

If you follow me on IG (and if you don’t, you should @robynmeacham), then you are here for the giveaway. For an extra 3 entries, head to Pink Blush and leave me a comment on what piece of clothing you would buy if you won!  Remember Pink Blush for all your cute pregnancy clothing needs!

How to Combat Dry Hands in the Winter

Does anyone else get reallllly dry skin in the winter time? I do! Not just on my hand either, everywhere! I’ll scratch myself raw…but that is another story for a different day. Today I’m talking about how I keep my hands nice and soft, instead of dry, cracked, and even bleeding.

My first must have is a great scrub, made with a good oil base that will remain on your hands to moisturize. Sometimes scrubbing my hands too much can make them worse if I am using a crappy scrub, so this is key. This Vanilla Cream Latte Scrub from Spa Thyme is everything I look for in a scrub. It’s made up of ingredients like almond and coconut oil, vitamin E oil, and then a few natural ingredients to make this the BEST SMELLING THING EVER. I promise there is no exaggeration on that, either. Bonus, it is super affordable too!

My next key thing is a thick, but not greasy, cream…preferably unscented or a light light scent. I’ve found that in this Dream Cream from Tubby Todd. I’ve used this for over a year I want to say, and I have repurchased twice. I love it. It is the perfect consistency, smell, and really leaves my hands feeling protected and moisturized. Try it!

Don’t worry, I have another jar! Lather it on thick.

Because I wash my hands so much, I do this once a day. That might be more that enough for some, but for me it is the perfect amount! Here’s to getting rid of dry hands this winter…for good!

Are you an Influenster?

Have you guys heard of Influenster? If you haven’t, you are seriously behind on the times! If you are anything like me, I love getting free samples and I love trying new things. What Influenster is is an online community made up of shoppers (you and I) that test out new products in exchange for honest and fair online reviews, and in return get to stay on top of the current trends! These products can be anything from beauty to food related, and everything in between. You take surveys to show what you are interested in, and the more active you are on social media, the better chance you have of getting good stuff!

Here are some of the things I have recently gotten. These are from 2 boxes, and are not everything that came in each box. Some things I use up right away, and other things last me a while!

The Ole Henriksen box I got was amazing. Such high quality products. The other stuff was from the #ESVoxBox which had so many goodies in it. I particularly love the mascara! And Troy loved the protein powder sample, lol.

Well-Liked Wednesday

Do you like my synonym for “must have” and “favorite”? I have such a way with words, haha. Here are a handful of my latest favorites:

FullSizeRender

  1. Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Split Pans, in Champagne Pop and Flowerchild. My most favorite highlighter and blush combo.
  2. L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer…a MUST have! This regular mascara is my favorite, and the primer in addition to it just takes it up a notch.
  3. Kylie Lip Kit in Koko K…THIS IS CURRENTLY IN STOCK SO HURRY AND GET ONE!!! This is the most perfect shade. I don’t super love how drying it can be throughout the day, so I apply some Carmex every so often.
  4. Naturscrub Cosmetics Essential Oil Infused Walnut Exfoliator in Ylang Live Lavender. I honestly feel that everyone needs this! This particular mask is great for acne prone skin (me), it is soothing and moisturizing, and the small pieces of walnuts are the perfect exfoliators. The smell is also refreshing and so yummy! Use code FOLLOWROBYN for 50% off! SUCH A DEAL.

What are some of your current staples? Sound off!

Vitamins and More

I recently discovered Smarty Pants Vitamins and was so excited when they offered to send me some vitamins. I am always on the hunt for the best tasting ones (along side the nutritional value), not just for me, but for Saylor too. She is the pickiest little girl when it comes to chewy, gummy things, so when I tried these I KNEW instantly that these were something she would enjoy!

IMG_2443

I received the 3 bottles pictured here. I tried a few of them and can honestly say they are the best tasting gummy vitamins I have had! They don’t have a weird aftertaste and they don’t have a weird consistency. Each bottle has different ingredients, carefully thought out and determined based off what each one of us needs. If you have any questions regarding Smarty Pants Vitamins, they can be found HERE.

I also need to touch on this waterproof pouch I received from Logan and Lenora. It is the Petit Pouch in Go Spot Go…SO obsessed with this print! All of these bags are waterproof and machine washable! Genius! They literally can be used for anything. Cosmetics, food, diapers, you name it. The Petit Pouch is the perfect size to fit into my diaper bag and fill it with whatever I need for the day.

Exciting New Products!

I was so excited when Essential Oxygen reached out to me and offered to send me a bottle of their Organic Brushing Rinse and Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. I have been wanting to try the hydrogen peroxide for over a year, and although I had never heard of the brushing rinse, as soon as I looked into it I was completely on board.

The Brushing Rinse is all good things. Each ingredient is natural and high quality. It helps with the health of your mouth and gums, bad breath, and whitens teeth! I’ve been using it about a week and I’m excited to see if I notice a difference in a month or so. It’s sort of like toothpaste and mouthwash in one, you swish a small amount around in your mouth, and then brush with the rinse still in!

IMG_2277

Now with the Hydrogen Peroxide, everyone knows how it works. It’s great for first aid, stains on clothes, cleaning, etc. BUT I found out last year that it helps lighten skin pigmentation and can even your skin tone. I am all about that. I get a lot of red marks on my face, my cheeks specifically, so I am super interested to see if this makes a difference! Each night I put a little on a cotton round and wipe my whole face, and target my spots a little more heavy. I’ve been told to be careful with doing this because it really does lighten! (vulnerable photo, thanks IG husband!)

IMG_2330

I got my LASIK enhancement today (first time was 5 months ago), so my eyes feel real scratchy right about now…hence my comfy clothes and pony in the picture above!  Has anyone else done it before? I’m excited to be able to see completely without glasses or contacts!

I will report back on my skin lightening and teeth whitening over the next couple weeks. I would encourage you all to give Essential Oxygen a try!

The Hot Iron Holster

Have you guys heard of this company? These Holsters are made of silicon and they cling to any smooth surface. Can you imagine the possibilities!? They honestly clear up so much counter space. They can not only be used in the bathroom, but in the craft room, toy room, or kitchen! Sounds like a dream to me. They come in a variety of different colors and sizes, which I love.

Friday Faves!

It’s finally Friday, YAY.  It has been quite a long week, with not a lot of family time (re: none), so I’m so looking forward to 4pm tomorrow when we can spend some time together!  It is so hot here in Arizona, I think Sunday will be spent in the mountains, actually does AZ even have mountains?  Regardless, it will be spent somewhere COOLER.  Here are some of my recent FAVORITE things!

IMG_2751

  1. L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation– this new product is AMAZING! Good luck finding it in stores, I went on a wild goose chase conquering 15 stores to find it, and found the last one in my color, haha. You’d be better off ordering online and using Ulta coupons.

2. ColourPop Lippie Stix in Crumpet– no explanation needed, perfect for summer!

3. Jo Malone Wild Bluebell– you can’t go wrong with Jo Malone!

4. Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake– the best lip balm with hint of color.

5. Hot Iron Holster in White– this item is LIFE CHANGING. It frees up counter space and clings to any flat surface. I need them all over my house.

6. L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray

7. Morphe E31– ON SALE FOR ONLY $8!!?? THIS IS A MUST HAVE. Morphe brushes are my FAVE and so affordable. This brush is usually $20, so this is a great deal.

I hope everyone has a fun, safe and relaxing weekend! I would love to hear some current faves of others and also I you LOVE any of mine!

Salis Skincare Giveaway!

I may sound repetitive bringing up Salis Skincare again, but I don’t care! When I find a good thing, I need to share it. And Laura has so generously allowed me to give away $75 shop credit to one lucky winner…see my IG on how to enter. Salis offers the best natural skincare products, and they have changed my skin. I went to see Laura back in February for a facial and all around skin consultation. She suggested I use her Lavender and Jasmine Scrub, Blackhead Removal Mask, take Mineral Support, and try and be aware of what foods I eat that may affect my skin.

IMG_1784

At 27 years old my skin was by far the worst it had ever been. I struggled with major hormonal acne and was so self conscious. Laura changed my life! Skin (unfortunately) doesn’t change over night, it takes a long time to heal. The pictures below are about 4 months apart. I still could change so many things about my skin if I could, but I am SO HAPPY that it is 80% better than what it was just not that long ago. I feel so vulnerable sharing these pictures, but if I can help someone not be discouraged about their skin, than it is worth it 🙂

Image-1

Here are some products that I have yet to try, but they are on my list!

hydrogenperoxide-300x300 Essential Oxygen Hydrogen Peroxide Spray…great for pigmentation and healing. NEED!

Spray_Rose-300x300

Healing Spray Rose…rose water is all the rage right now so I’m definitely interested in giving this a try!

If you are in Utah, GO SEE LAURA! Trust me! Even if you don’t struggle with acne, treat yo’ self to a nice facial. It is nice just to get pampered. Comment on this post with what product you are interested in, or what you are looking for in skincare, for an extra entry (see my Instagram). I truly hope this helps someone and that everyone gives Salis Skincare a try!
