My Experience with BodyBoss Fitness Guide

Hi all! As most of you know, working out is a STRUGGLE for me. To say the least! Especially after having Remi, I am still trying to figure out when the best time to shower and clean the house is, let alone squeeze a workout in. I love that there are so many “work out at home” options these days, so you don’t have to go anywhere, and you don’t need any fancy equipment. I was recently introduced to the BodyBoss Method. What it is is a Fitness Guide you follow…you workout 3 days a week, for 24 active minutes, and the program is 12 weeks. BodyBoss workouts include fun and challenging high intensity workouts. You may have heard of HIIT before, high intensity interval training, these circuits are key for maximum fat burning and power. They also have made a bonus 4 week pre-training program, which is so nice for people like me who are intimidated or not in shape to just jump right in!

I also like having the booklet on hand. It is easier for me to be able to hold and physically touch something, and go page by page. If that isn’t your thing, you can order the online version, which gives you access to everything online.

I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting, but I knew 3 days a week sounded very doable. I found that working out in the morning is the best time for me…during the day gets too busy with two kids and if I work out at night, I don’t sleep…haha! Does anyone else have that problem? Each day you work out is focused on a different part of the body, legs one day, core another day, etc…and they also give you recommendations on how to do some easy cardio on the “rest” days, to get your heart rate up and stay active.

Another thing I like about working out from home is that I can do it with my babies at my side! Saylor isn’t in these pictures, but she likes to do some of the stretching and exercises with me, which makes it more fun for me. Remi also likes getting out of the house.

The Fitness Guide has been so helpful. At the back of the book it has photos and a description of all the exercises and stretches. I am a visual person so that really helps me, and lets me know if I am doing everything correct. I am anxious to see my results once I really get into it. I don’t really have any weight to lose, I just need to tone up and develop some muscle tone. There is a few pages in the fitness guide dedicated to tracking your goals, and how to stay motivated and what to look for. This BodyBoss program is perfect for the busy mom, the person who is intimidated by gyms, or the person who only has a few moments in their day to make count.

Let me know how you guys like to workout, and if you prefer working out not in a typical setting, I highly recommend you try BodyBoss! The tank I am wearing from them is also very soft and comfortable, FYI!
