Baby Shower Gift Guide!

Does anyone feel like they are really good at giving baby shower gifts? I do! Haha, honestly though, being a mom has made me really aware of what to give for gifts. Before having Saylor, I was a big giver of clothes, which don’t get me wrong, clothes are amazing to get because, duh, our babies need clothes! But, now I give gifts based on a few things. First, necessary things that you will need for a long time (IE diapers, wipes, diaper bag!). And second, things that you wouldn’t necessarily buy for yourself, things that you wouldn’t think you need, or things that you may not have heard of (IE DockATot, Solly wrap, Milestone Cards).

Let’s review a few things. First, we’ll start with the DockATot. These are multi-fuctional loungers and co-sleepers. They come in different sizes so they can grow with your baby. They are breathable, all natural, and SO SOFT and comfortable. This is a company founded by a mother, that saw a need in the industry for this product and I can see why.

Freshly Picked Moccs and Tubby Todd bath products. These moccs have been part of Saylor growing up. They were her first pair of shoes, the first shoes she walks in, and she still wears them! They are such a fun heirloom and the cutest accessory. Tubby Todd has also been our go to for bath products since Say was little. They are all natural and have the yummiest scents, that aren’t overpowering. A must have and so much better than the typical baby soaps.

Next is the Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock. Boy is this a lifesaver. This is great for babies about 6 months and up (until they can sit up on their own). Ditch the car seat in the cart and use this instead. It fits in most standard shopping carts and is totally a space saver. This hammock can actually hold the car seat with baby in it, or just the baby. So cool!

I’m sure that you have seen the nursing covers by now…the kind that can be used many different ways. Well Covered Goods are the best and they come in the most amazing prints. Even if you don’t nurse, they works as shopping cart covers and car seat covers. Genius and a necessity!

A baby wrap/carrier…specifically a Solly Baby. I love supporting small companies, and this one seems like one of the best. Baby wearing is functional and so personal. Try it!

Milestone Baby Cards…the cutest way to announce things. They are for pregnancy all the way through different milestones of the babies life. A cute and special way to remember things.

Diapers and wipes are sort of a no brainer I think. There isn’t anything special or exciting to them, but whenever I got some I wanted to cry with happiness. Any money that you don’t have to spend on those things is so nice!

Books! You need books! And even better, a book subscription. Getting a few new books every month is fun and keeps things fresh. Bookroo is a great alternative to having to go to the store. Use code ROBYMEAC for $10 off!

KikiLu diaper bags are our favorite. They come in great colors, and the pockets are perfect. What is better than a new bag? Not much!

Last but not least, what about a new rug for your nursery? I recently discovered Lorena Canals rugs, and have been wondering why I haven’t known about them for the past 3 years, lol! These rugs are machine washable. That is pretty much all you need to know and you should just go buy one right now. I am not joking. We just got one about a week ago for Saylor’s room and I’m so happy that it is a part of her room! It is so soft, and I love the pattern. The dyes used are all natural and they’re eco friendly, and they are handmade. Love that!

I hope I have given you some new, fun ideas for when you go to a baby shower next! And trust me, coming from a mom, anyone would love to receive any of these gifts. What are you go to baby shower gift’s?

xo,
